Yes on Prop 8!
The sign that he is holding up says Yes on Prop 8. I think the picture speaks for itself for those trying to fight the battle in California to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry.
Since I have many family members in California, I get a lot of emails and information regarding Prop 8. I know they, along with many members of the church, are fighting for this proposition to uphold traditional marriage. While I feel defenseless without the opportunity to vote on this matter, I do feel that if it is not passed, this issue will not stop in California and spread to more states. I pray that those fighting the battle in California will have success!
I have read articles on the fall-out facing school children and families in MA because of legalizing gay marriages. I feel your frustration and pray that people will be led to vote for traditional marriage.
Very clever picture with Samuel the Lamanite. Did you also hear that San Francisco wants to try and legalize prostitution? YIKES! I really think SF is going to fall into the ocean/bay very soon if the city continues to make sure wicked choices. No offense to anyone living in SF that is making good choices.
Ben used this term when Zac and Jen found themselves on the way to Boise instead of the planned trip to Yellowstone. Zac crazily turned the car around, Jen yelled at Zac, "quit driving like a Maniac", and Ben followed, "yeah, quit driving like a Meaniwac!" Thus the name has stuck with us as we try to get through this crazy life!
